In November 2025, our team, Prismatics, won first prize at the Medical Students’ Hackathon of the 16th National Conference of Health Profession Education (NCHPE 2025), organised by Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, in collaboration with AMSA India.
It was the first time the conference had held a hackathon for medical students. Twenty-three teams from across the country took part, each working on a problem in medical education or healthcare.
I represented SGRD Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Amritsar, with my teammates Harsirjan Singh Bagga and Nishtha Pahwa.
NCHPE is a conference about how doctors are trained. Winning there as students was a reminder that the people going through medical education are often well placed to improve it, given the right platform.
